Pumpkin & Apple Granola Bars

Ingredient List
- 200 g full-fat soft cheese
- 4 tablespoons tinned pumpkin purée
- 2 Nature Valley™ Crunchy Oats & Honey Granola Bars
- 1/2 red apple, cored and diced
- 1/2 teaspoon maple syrup
- Pinch of ground cinnamon
Preparation
- Beat the soft cheese and pumpkin purée together in a small bowl until smooth.
- Spread 2 teaspoons of the mixture on each granola bar. Top with diced apple, drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
- Cover and chill any remaining pumpkin soft cheese mixture to use the next day, see Tip (it will keep in an airtight container for 2-3 days).
Tips
- Cooking Vegetarian? Always read labels to make sure each recipe ingredient is vegetarian. Products and ingredient sources can change.
- If you can’t find a tin of pumpkin purée in the supermarket, replace with smooth peanut butter for a nutty version.
- Pumpkin flavoured soft cheese is a delicious spread. Try it on bagels, toast or crumpets.
